Dr. Yehia Massoud, a technology and academia leader and scholar, holds a distinguished career marked by his dual contributions to academia and industry. After earning a Ph.D. from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, he began his professional journey at Synopsys in Silicon Valley. Here, he led teams in developing cutting-edge technology solutions that are now integral to global users’ daily experiences. He has held several leading positions at renowned institutions of higher education and respected industry names including Rice University, Stevens Institute of Technology, WPI, UAB, Kaust, Stanford University, IBM, and Synopsys Inc.
In 2003, Dr. Massoud joined Rice University, where he quickly made his mark by achieving tenure in under four years and leading the ECE graduate program. Dr. Massoud has served as the Dean of Systems at Stevens Institute of Technology.
